BREATH COACHING

Breath coaching is a practical process of becoming more aware of how you breathe and learning how to work with your breath more intentionally.

In a session, we explore your natural breathing patterns and how your breath may change with movement, focus, stress, pressure or different situations. You'll learn practical techniques to develop greater breath awareness, control and regulation, and explore how these skills can be applied to everyday life and performance.

The aim isn't to force your breathing into a particular pattern, but to help you understand your breath and develop the ability to use it as a practical tool.

Your breath is something you carry with you everywhere - breath coaching helps you learn how to use it.

Breath coaching can benefit anyone wanting to better understand their breathing and develop greater awareness, control and confidence. This can include performers, stunt performers, freedivers, athletes, people experiencing everyday stress or pressure, and anyone curious to explore what their breath can do.

Online sessions take place via video call, allowing you to work with me from wherever you are. We’ll talk through what you’d like to explore, work through practical breathing exercises together, and discuss ways you can continue practising between sessions. It’s a simple and flexible option if you can’t make it to an in-person session.

Each session is tailored to you and what you'd like to explore. We’ll begin by talking about your breathing, your goals and any relevant experiences or challenges. From there, we may explore different breathing exercises and practical techniques, with guidance and feedback throughout the session.

You'll have the opportunity to notice how your breathing changes and learn ways to work with it more intentionally. Sessions are practical and exploratory, giving you tools and ideas you can continue to practise between sessions.
